Juan Pineda is a graduate in law of the University of Honduras Law School (la
Escuela de Leyes de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma
de Honduras) and
licensed to practice law in the Republic of Honduras. Before becoming a lawyer
he was an educator and elementary school principal in the city of San Pedro Sula.
Juan Pineda has been in both public and private law practice since 1992. For
eight years, he served the Republic of Honduras as Solicitor for the Northwest
zone of Honduras.
Juan Pineda is currently a deputy in the National Congress of Honduras.
Juan Pineda maintains a general practice with emphasis in Adoption and Family
Law. He also practices Criminal Law.
Juan Pineda was born in the town of San Antonio de Cortés. With his six brothers
and sisters, he grew up on a farm in the mountains of Honduras. He currently lives in
the city of San Pedro Sula with his
wife, Sulay, and their two children. Sulay is a certified teacher and is
currently the Director of the School of Agriculture of the Sula Valley (la
Escuela de Agricultura del Valle de Sula), located in the Municipality of
Choloma, Cortes, Honduras.
